I made a Ponyo Plushie!!!! She's here to celebrate the U.S. release of the movie
Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea
It's Miyazaki's newest movie and it looks super cute! I would love to go see it but my town is lame and doesn't get cool import movies <..<
Anywho... Ponyo is approximately 12.5 inches tall or so (she's so fluffy I can't accurately measure!). Her face was hand stitched and made of body-stocking material with iron on transfer eyes. Her body is made of fleece and this really odd/awesome squishy fabric. Her hair is crochet-ed from fuzzy yarn.
I tried my best to capture the look of the original character as close as possible (and was hopefully successful!).
She is available on my etsy site: [link] and I'm sure she'd appreciate a good home ^____^
This Ponyo is also NOT an officially licensed plushie. It is an homage/fan plush because I love Miyazaki-dono so much! She is the first in a whole bunch of Studio Ghibli fan plushies I will be making.

I absolutely love this! \(^_^)/ I know you won't make more, in fear of your sanity, but perhaps some plushie-maker such as TY or even Nenderoid will see this, if the pic gets more exposure. Could anyone share it on Facebook, for example? (with credit of course.) You could watermark it to be sure, I think. I am new (to dA) so I don't know.
